This series will bring the Advent message to life with the characters of Christmas. By using 5 different characters associated with Christmas, we explore key spiritual truths about the arrival of Christ over 2000 years ago. Each character will tell a part of the story on Christ’s coming.
Theme: When God’s will is made clear in life and we obey, nothing is impossible.
Focus Verse: Luke 1:26-38
And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Theme: We must learn to align our lives to God’s plan as he leads.
Focus Verse: Matthew 1:24-25
When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
Theme: As believers we must understand that the gospel reaches all people.
Focus Verse: Luke 2:10-11
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Theme: We must consider our own personal worship of the Christ.
Focus Verse: Matthew 2:10-11
When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him.
