During this series, we will seek to make a priority of God’s kingdom over our own personal comfort by trusting in His provision for us and also by looking forward to the glory of Christ.

Focus on: What are our priorities? Are we building God’s Kingdom or our own? How does God’s presence shape our work for Him today? Do we keep our focus on the present temporary world, or on our future eternal glory in Christ? God restores those called to repent and return to. Him He promises us a future that cannot be moved or shaken.

A Journey Through 1 John – written by the apostle John, one of the 3 diciples in the ‘inner circle’ along with his brother James and Peter. John served as the overseer to the church in Ephesus as well as the other churches in Asia Minor. John tells us the truth about relationships and shows us how to have fellowship with God, as well as, other Believers that are real – for both now and for eternity.

This series will bring the Advent message to life in a colorful way. By using different colors traditionally associated with Christmas, we explore key spiritual truths about the arrival of Christ over 2000 years ago. Each color will tell a part of the story on Christ’s coming, His love, sacrifice, and the hope and victory that we can have in Him.

Paul’s letter to the Colossians – a short letter written to a church that he had most likely never visited – was written while he was in a Roman prison near the end of his life. In it, he instructs those Believers (as well as us today) that living for Jesus is better than anything or anyone else, and that our lives are truly complete when they are found in Christ.

During this sermon series, we will look at one on one encounters that Jesus had with individuals that caused their lives to be On Mission with him. This will prepare us to see Jesus at work in our lives and hear the call to serve Christ as we are On Mission where we live and work, and with our friends and family and people we meet along the way.

Throughout Advent, we focus on the Biblical truths found in John 1 and their significance for the Christmas season. As we reflect on the Incarnation of Jesus Christ we will hope to find true meaning and relevance in our lives, emphasizing the importance of preparing our hearts to welcome Christ in an old, but new, way during this season of anticipation and celebration.

Each week, we explore different aspects of thanksgiving and its significance in our lives. We hope to understand and apply the principles of gratitude in our daily lives.

We also undertake a 30-Day Giving Thanks Challenge as part of this series

We take a brief look at the importance of prayer in the life of the Believer. First, we look at how we should approach God in four ways in our personal and corporate prayer lives. Then, we will look at two prayers from the Old Testament (of Aaron and Agur) to see how God wants us to receive His blessings and how we should pray to remain in the center of His will for our lives.
